Central Ohio Trophy Whitetail Hunts

Ranked in the top 10 states all time and in the last twenty years in Boone and Crocket entries, Ohio continues to gain ground as one of the finest whitetail destinations in the world.  With the ideal mixture of habitat types consisting of mass-producing hardwoods and an intensive food plot program, this property is a consistent producer of world-class whitetails. We hunt on over 1,500 acres of private land in Licking, Knox and Coshocton counties in east central Ohio. While trophy bucks can be found in every corner of the Buckeye State, counties in east-central Ohio top the list of Ohio deer hunting destinations. These counties consistently produce massive bucks.

Hunting

The hunting in Central Ohio, like much of the Midwest will concentrate on the hardwood in the morning and in Ohio’s case food plots in the afternoon. Crossbows are legal throughout the general archery season for those gun hunters interested in extending their hunting season.

Habitat

The fertile Hardwood stands dominate the landscape bordered by agriculture fields. We provide year round nutrition with our multi season food plot programs. Ohio is 55% forested offering the perfect blend of habitat types for growing trophy whitetails.

License

Ohio license are available over the counter and a non-resident hunting license cost is $125 and a deer tag is $24.

Trophy Expectation

We expect hunters to have a reasonable opportunity to take a 150-class whitetail and there is always the chance for a deer of a lifetime.

We have a 140-inch minimum on our property with a $1000 fine.

Accommodation

Hunters will stay in our modern lodge with all the comforts of home and then some.

Getting there

Hunters can fly into Columbus Ohio and rent a car for the 45 minute drive to camp.
